Spatial elegance
While innately luxurious, each space is designed to feel like a blank canvas – encouraging residents to fill them with their own treasured pieces. Comprised of natural stone, timber flooring and plush, woollen carpets, the refined suite of finishes is illuminated by an abundance of natural light – drawn in by soaring, full-height windows.
Pairing a timeless aesthetic with modern convenience, interiors are defined by their tranquil ambience, classic materials and thoughtfully curated layouts.

Custom-designed fireplace joinery, combining functionality and style with robust yet elegant materials.
Light-filled and well-appointed, the open plan living area is a place of socialisation and relaxation, boasting a beautiful outlook to the streetscape. Taking cues from the architecture, curved forms are witnessed within the joinery, on the fireplace and at the foot of the island bench, creating a seamless cohesion between in and out as well as an inherent sense of calm.

Reflects on designing homes to capture the distinct nature of Camberwell
What has been the biggest source of inspiration for Timeless?
We were greatly inspired by the distinctive residential character of the area, both architecturally and interiorly. As two of Melbourne's oldest suburbs, both Hawthorn East and Camberwell are dotted with stately Victorian and Edwardian homes, so we wanted to create something respectful of these residences.
Could you talk us through the external features?
Located on a corner site, Timeless offers two unique frontages, each one responding to the context of the street it sits on. The Mowbray Street entrance provides a private residential experience, while the Burke Road entrance engages with the street interface, offering a ground floor commercial component and sophisticated foyer space. We’ve purposefully selected materials that age gracefully for both facades, including robust brick and smooth render, with metal cladding to the recessed top level. Contrasted with rectilinear forms, we’ve also featured beautiful, organic curves to soften the overall look and feel of the external area.
How has this been translated into the interiors?
The great thing about having a project’s architect and interior designer in the same office is that there is this very natural transition between external and internal design features. The interiors echo the same classic materiality introduced on the facade, while also featuring curved features like the joinery and island bench.
What is your favourite thing about Timeless?
Timeless is designed to appeal to both homeowners and first home buyers, which means the community that will unfold within the development will be a diverse and colourful one – I think this is a really exciting element. I also love the wonderful sense of arrival created by the opulent lobby area. It evokes a strong feeling of pride and of ‘coming home’.
